Putting the daily dinner together is a dreaded chore. With schedules these days, making a meal on the run happens more and more. Planning your meals in advance, and making the preparations on the weekend can make the week go much smoother.

All of that aside, here are some quick meal ideas. Soup and sandwiches are always a quick meal. With all the frozen stir fries on the market now, just add your choice of meat, and dinner is on the table in a flash. Spaghetti cannot be simpler, especially with the wide variety of pasta sauces on the market shelves. You add a little hamburger, some spaghetti noodles, and dinner is on the table before you know it.

Here is one really simple spaghetti recipe. First, brown ½ a pound of lean ground beef, drain off any fat, and then add ¼ a cup of chopped onions. Now, add a pinch of hot pepper, ½ a teaspoon of dried basil, and ½ a teaspoon of dried oregano. To this, add 2 and ½ cups of water, 1 and ½ cups of your favorite spaghetti cause and 12 ounces of spaghetti noodles. Cover and let simmer for about 15 minutes.
