Is Clutter Cluttering UpYour Life ?

Getting rid of clutter is probably something that we all would like to achieve.

One way to start would be the "machete" approach, which involves chopping the overall project into smaller, manageable pieces. This is a problem solving technique taught in most major colleges and universities. In other words, if you are trying to unclutter the garage as a project, break it up into areas and make each an item in a "to do" list, and then prioritize the list and begin. As each area is completed, mark it off the list. You’ll be surprised at how quickly you can achieve success!

Certain benefits will accrue after all that is done, but what sort of benefits should you achieve? You'll likely gain increased productivity when you don't have to turn over every paper on your desk to find the page you need. Everything needs to have a place and everything should be in its place. Gaining control of your surroundings will get that back for you.

Reduced clutter equals reduced stress. Think about the productivity point above. Stress really builds up when you are looking for something on a deadline and can't put your hands on it.

When you open space by uncluttering, it might lead to new, money saving and income-producing projects, like painting scenes or signs using your untapped creative juices.

If this doesn't meet your expectations, try a Google search for ridding litter. You'll be surprised at the number of helpful websites that are identified!
